On 6/2/18, Christian volunteers with Harvest Of Israel, a non-profit humanitarian charity in Morristown, Tennessee, prayed over the 40-foot shipping container with the #1 “Lion Of Judah” bronze sculpture, bound for ISRAEL.

Don Owen (left), Director of Harvest Of Israel, founder Dr. Dean Haun (Pastor of First Baptist Church in Morristown), and Tim Velie, Director of Operations, supervised the delivery of the lion statue to Ashdod, Israel.

Upon arrival at the Port of Ashdod on 7/18/18, the crated lion was trucked to the warehouse of The Joseph Project in Beth Shemesh. One year later, on 6/10/19, former USA Congresswoman, Michele Bachmann and Connie Wilson brought Fleur Hassan-Nahoum (Deputy Major of Jerusalem) to see the magnificent lion stored in the warehouse.

Thanks to efforts of many Christians and Jews, Jerusalem City officials were finally persuaded to accept the art gift from American Christians. By the sovereignty of God, the name of the new, incoming Mayor was… Moses Lion.

Jeff Anderson, President of Leadership Inc, assisted the Greiners in raising the funds needed to give the statue to Israel. Max and his wife, Sherry donated their profits from the #1 bronze sculpture to make the unique gift possible.

American Christian donors included many evangelical organizations and individuals who wanted to bless the Jewish nation with this historic art gift.

The lion statue was placed in Bloomfield Park, between the Old City and New Jerusalem, in sight of Mount Zion and the Jaffa Gate, not far from the King David Hotel.

Four threaded rods were used to secure the heavy bronze casting to its concrete foundation.

The stylized bronze lion is now on permanent display in the 17-acre public park in Jerusalem, the City of God.

The heavy lion was carefully lowered by a crane on to its foundation in the popular public park, which is visited by both Israeli citizens and tourists from around the world.

Rabbi Pesach Wolicki (left) Executive Director of the Center For Jewish-Christian Understanding & Cooperation, and Chris Mitchell (right) CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief, shared the story of the historic art gift worldwide.

Deputy Mayor Fleur Hassan-Nahoum stated: "We are honored to accept this wonderful gift symbolizing another strength and that is the friendship between the evangelical community and the Jewish people. We thank the artist, Max Greiner for this beautiful initiative that will stand forever in our capital city as a sign of love, friendship and mutual appreciation."

Rabbi Wolicki, the Deputy Mayor and Amos Cohen were instrumental in the installation of the bronze. Cohen, charged with the care of 174 public art pieces in the city proclaimed: "This is the most beautiful of all pieces of art we have in the city, because it is a lion and the symbol of the City of Jerusalem."
